I've long envisioned a crisp, pristine clean profile that captures both the iconic clean tones of the F***** '68 Deluxe Reverb and the clarity of a direct profile. The result is a unique clean sound that blends the rich Bassman-style tone stack of the '68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue with the power and simplicity of a direct-recorded sound.
To clarify, the profile was captured with two mics (an AKG C414 and an SM57), but the cab block is turned off. You can enable it if you prefer, but the core of this profile is built around a direct, unprocessed sound.
As always, my Kemper rig includes my favorite built-in Kemper Reverb, Delay, and stompboxes, ensuring you get a fantastic sound right from the start.
