With this profile, I aimed to achieve maximum playability while preserving a rich attack and expressive tone, perfect for both soaring leads and intricate phrasing. I built it around my favorite lead setup: My M*** *****e in the Mark I mode in 10W, with the Variac and Thick switches engaged for a pushed and thick sound. For added punch, I used an MXR Dyna Comp for light compression and boosting, along with an MXR 10 Band EQ to gently shape the tone.
To ensure you hear the exact sound I do, the profile is captured with my reliable IR/Cab simulation, accurately recreating the tone as it sounds in my studio.
As always, my Kemper rig includes my favorite built-in Kemper Reverb, Delay, and stompboxes, so you'll enjoy a fantastic sound right from the start.
